Probably the first thing you will notice as you park up at Strawberry Barn are the views; even from the driveway the views down Nidderdale are superb, and due to the elevated position of this lovely barn conversion they will only get better as you explore.

The Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is quite literally on the doorstep, as is the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so there is plenty of countryside and scenery to explore. The nearest public footpath is directly opposite the end of the driveway, leading up through woodland and fields to the top of Greenhow Hill and the amazing panoramic views from Coldstones Cut. Leeds Bradford International Airport is only 20 miles away, and there are train stations at Harrogate and Otley within easy reach.

There are quicker routes, but for a first visit the easiest way from either Harrogate or Ripon is to take the A61 to RIpley roundabout and take the exit towards Pateley Bridge.
